7 Items You Should Not Save Money On

Post image for 7 Items You Should Not Save Money On
Saving money on clothes is never a bad thing and today it’s very easy to find fashionable
clothes for less money. Stores like Forever21,H&MTopshopModcloth andDorothy Perkins offer the latest trends at very affordable prices. Trends are changing as we speak and every day we see something new we want to buy. If you like to follow all the latest trends and you are not Paris Hilton and the cash flow isn’t constant, these stores are the go-to place.

7 Things You Need In Your Wardrobe

But there are some things that are worth spending a little more money on – or as I like to think of it; investing in.

The Perfect Pair of Jeans

Finding a perfect pair of jeans can be a hard job. And even though you can find a pair of jeans that fit you great for $ 10, not being frugal when looking for the perfect pair of jeans is essential. The structure, quality and design differs so much and in my experience, the jeans that have fit me perfectly and that I’ve had for 4-5 years without the color fading and the structure changing have been designer jeans.

Sunglasses

We all use and need sunglasses no matter where we live. Finding a pair of sunglasses that fits you can be a difficult thing; they’re either too wide, too small, too big or simply not in your taste. Going to a store that specializes in selling glasses and sunglasses can therefore be a great idea. Buy yourself a good pair of classic sunglasses that you can have for many, many years. Or until you sit on them!

A (p)leather jacket

A leather jacket never goes out of style. It’s one the classics and ever so often they become a huge trend. So investing in a good quality leather or pleather jacket is very recommendable. No one is too young or too old to wear a (p)leather jacket, all depending on the style of it of course, so buy a classic looking jacket in a color that you will not get tired of.

(P)leather Gloves

If you live somewhere where it’s sunny most of the year, maybe this is not important, however if you live in a country where you need to have a pair of gloves, invest in a good pair, that you can have many years to come. Just like the (p)leather jacket, leather gloves never go out of style!

Boots (and shoes in general)

Women love shoes. That’s no secret. And we want to have many of them. When it comes to shoes, quality is essential. If you wear high heels a lot, you know what I’m talking about. When it comes to comfort, there is a big difference between shoes. And every woman should have a good pair of black boots!

The Bag

We love shoes and some of us love bags even more. Finding that perfect bag that will follow you around wherever you go is a great thing. Invest in a quality bag that you can have as long as you want. A classic color and design are essential as you will then be able to pair the bag with any jacket or any pair of shoes.

A Watch

Having a watch is not a must, but if you are a watch-person, it’s a good idea to invest in one of great quality and design. Watches are worn a lot as accessories and they are very visible. You need to find a watch that you are comfortable looking at many times a day.

Spending the money

Now, these items are not necessarily supposed to drive you to bankruptcy and if there is one group of people the recession has been beneficial to, it’s the fashionistas. Sales have gone wild this year and you can buy so many things for so little money.
Buying one expensive designer item, whether it’s on sale or not, satisfies the need of that particular item, because it’s the best you could find in your taste. When you buy a cheap watch there will always be another watch that is better for more money or just as good for the money you spent, so you keep buying because “This one only costs 20 dollars anyway”.
