Satin and silk-blend fabrics don’t dent your face, adds Lindsay, “and they’re really great for your hair”. So unless you plan on sleeping on your back, it’s totally worth the money. 3. Cranberry juice

Redheaded celebs take to rinsing their hair in this favorite juice to add extra shine and keep the color rich and lustrous.

Collagen injections? No thanks. It’s been reported that a few popular singers, prefer this trick to painful injections. “Peppermint extract is a natural plumper, because it dilates blood vessels.” Simply dab a bit on with your fingers and enjoy your youthful, plump pout.

5. Whiten teeth with strawberries

Ever wonder how celebrities maintain their gleaming smiles? 7. Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is a natural cleanser and toner in one. This trick used by Hollywood stars and models, keeps skin fresh, clear and evenly balanced. Just like any expensive toner- it helps to shrink the size of pores and maintain an even complexion. Added bonus? Lindsay tell us,” Citric acid acts as an exfoliator.” Have sun spots? Lemon juice is proven to help diminish the look of those too. Apply it to cotton balls and sweep entirely over face as a major part of your cleansing routine. 8. Olive oil for waterproof mascara (and everything else)

Road Test Alert- Curious to try it myself (hey, I like spilling a good secret!) I was stunned. After three days my under eye area looked hydrated, refreshed and my dark circles gone. Lindsay did tell me, “chronic dark circles are usually an issue of dry skin.” Immediately, I was obsessed and replaced my usual night eye cream with olive oil and have the softest skin I’ve ever had!

MAKEUP:SMOKEY PURPLE EYES

Smokey eyes makeup will be very trendy this fall and winter for a dramatic evening look. Instead of using the black and dark blue used in smokey eyes of the past, experiment with purples this season to create this look.

Prep your eyelids with primer to be sure your makeup lasts. Apply primer from the lash line to the brow bone before applying any shadow.
Line your upper lashes with a dark liner. Deep purple or dark charcoal in liquid or gel form work well. Line your upper lash line making the line a bit thicker in the center of the eye compared to the edges.
Apply a lighter liner to your lower lash line. Use an eye pencil, powder liner or eye shadow applied with a tiny brush. Pick a lighter hue but similar color to the liner used on the upper lash line.
Add a light eyeshadow such as pale purple to your eyelid from the lashes to the crease. Select a darker shade of purple eye shadow and apply directly into the crease.
Dip your eye shadow brush into the dark color and apply it gently over your eyeliner and then blend upward. Use a very small amount of shadow at first and blend carefully toward the crease. Continue applying more dark shadow until you get the desired smokey effect. You can apply a lighter color of purple or berry from the crease to the brow bone for extra drama.
Use an eyelash curler to curl your lashes. Apply two coats of black mascara. With all the attention on your eyes, you don't need much more makeup. A rosy blush and glossy pink lipstickcompletes the look.

10 Ways To Impress Her In The First Date

You should pull yourself together always and everywhere, but there are exactly six times a week when the way you dress really, really matters. Five of those are from about nine to about five during the workweek, and they can be pretty tough. But the sixth is date night, and it is not to be underestimated. Especially when this particular sixth day happens to befirst-date night. Because an impression, like a good outfit, is difficult to make, but when your etiquette is in concert with your wardrobe, well, good things happen. The first thing you need to realize is that your presentation of yourself shows your level of respect for her, and... See? We're already dropping tips before the list actually starts.

Women are obsessed with shoes. Not just their own shoes or shoes on other women — your shoes. So wear nice ones, because her judging you on them is unavoidable. Pick an appropriate pair — lace-ups or loafers for the evening; driving shoes, moccasins, or simple sneakers for the afternoon; flip-flops for nothing, ever — and you’ve scored points before the handshake.

Take it easy on the cologne. They like it when you smell nice, but there's no need to bludgeon the poor woman.

Don't wear anything to which the words "zany" or "interesting" might apply. T-shirts with sayings on them, your "Mr. Burns for Mayor" pin, dad's old hunting cap — they're not going to show her how clever you are. Your words and actions will. New jokes help, too.
